Intimate destination wedding of Keri and Bernice in Cape Town
“You can be both soft and intense. Both vulnerable and strong. Both traditional and rebellious. Both romantic and realistic. Both feminine and oceanic yet filled with slow burning fire. There is possibility inside of paradox. There is a universe of different perceptions.”
― Victoria Erickson
It felt a real privilege to capture the wedding of these 2 ladies, Keri and Berenice. They are both such wonderful, kind and caring individuals with complete opposite energies, which clearly compliments each other and makes them such an inspiring team.
Keri and Berenice celebrated their love in front of their dearest friends and family who came together from all corners of the world at Suikerbossie restaurant in Cape Town, South Africa. It was quite an emotional, intimate and wonderful ceremony, many tears and laughs were shared.
Both Berenice and Keri are big lovers of the beach, so it only felt right to take them to the sand dunes close-by to get some beautiful couple shots whilst their guests kicked of a chilled gathering in the gardens of Suikerbossie with food and drinks surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Cape Town. They booked me to capture the ceremony and portraits, so I left the wonderful couple and their guests as they started their meal.
I love shooting small weddings, it is quite an honour to be part of something so intimate and personal.
